Reminders

Once upon a time (this morning), I had a marinated pork shoulder using this recipe. I asked my husband to turn the crock pot on low when he leaves for work, so it wouldn't be drying out for 10 hours and defeating the purpose of the crock pot, but he ended up leaving before me this morning. So I didn't put the pork in the crock pot either. So it's cooking now, and we had our stand-by eggs, sausage, spinach, sweet potato scramble, which was actually really good with the bread and jelly from yesterday! (But still not as good as pulled pork with homemade BBQ sauce!) And oh how good that pork would have tasted after Zumba and kickboxing! I used my new gloves and they were awesome! Even when I'm tired, I push myself so I can compare myself to everyone else in the class and know at least I tried harder!

Here's a little before/after for you because I always love looking at those. It's kind of an after but not quite done yet/after after since the first picture is our first half marathon in Evansville, IN, and the second picture is our latest half (my fourth) in Nashville, TN.

Can you tell a difference?
